Leadlight Workshops

Join us for an immersive leadlight workshop at Studio Chichi in Melbourne. The studio is decorated from floor to ceiling with tropical plants aquariums, and terrariums, the workshop offers a hands-on artistic experience for up to six participants.

Over the course of the workshop, you will learn the art of leadlighting and create your own small panel to take home. You will select from an array of designs and a vibrant selection of glass colors and textures to craft a personalized piece.

Skills Covered

Under expert guidance, you will learn the essential steps of the craft:

• Glass cutting

• Cutting lead

• Assembling the panel

• Soldering

• Puttying and patina finishing

Class Formats

We offer two ways to complete the workshop:

• Sunday Workshop: Completed in a single full day.

• Two-Night Course: Spread across two evening sessions.

Workshop Add-ons

• Stained Hardwood Bookend Frame ($40): An optional frame to mount your finished piece, available to add during booking.
